Do I think it was a cop out to have the whole thing be a dream? Yes. Would I rather have it be Star Trek canon that people can be turned into puppets and still be alive, and be basically indestructible and able to survive and have conversa… I did appreciate that they start to embrace the silliness and that's how they eventually retake the ship, and I think Spock had a good arc. Let's start with the puppets. Pike, Chapel, and Uhura were the best, with Ortegas and the nameless redshirt as honorable mentions. The La'an, Una, and T'Pring puppets had weird mouth things going on, and Scotty and Pelia's eyes were too mu… So, the puppet episode. I admit that I laughed out loud several times during the episode, and a lot of it was fun to watch, but it wasn't really great Star Trek. I think I speak for all my fellow introverts when I say "yes, sign me up."
