short version: sometimes you want to run a sub-suite without installing all the dependencies for the other sub-suites and just deselect tests that don't load due to expected missing imports.
example: local testing with just API can desele…
pytest kinda blows up during collection if an import fails.

I tried recording chapter 9 of “Lean TDD” and the flow didn’t feel right. So, one more edit pass with a perspective of “am I willing to read this out loud”. I’m about halfway through the chapter edits.
It’s 11 pm and I am tired. But I also want to keep writing. My brain want to keep going. But my hands and forearms say we’re done for the night. :(
