wow, turns out that being on a long term course of steroids while on the job market while the country implodes is really taking a lot out of me. not fun!
This still seems like a clear money over values thing, but as a colleague helpfully pointed out, the NIH overhead action is a single drastic action ripe for legal challenge, whereas the DEI stuff is more informal, harder to challenge immed…
