While the release of VLC 4 is still far, there is progress on VLCKit. It is unified for all Apple platforms now with an improved and simplified API. We add compatibility with visionOS and still support iOS 9. While it is too early to use in production, feedback would be welcome! Last week's beta 2 of VLC-iOS 4.0 shipped with a very basic radio discovery integration based on https://www.radio-browser.info

We published a small update of VLC for iOS and Apple TV this morning notably fixing audio playback issues with the OPUS codec and crashes when using the dav1d decoder on 64Bit devices. It’s on the store now: https://apps.apple.com/de/app/v…
