The last typo I caught was a prime example of why I use serifed fonts while editing. Writers, use whichever font you like to write! Whatever keeps the creative juices flowing. Editors can apply our own template with our preferred fonts to make editing easier for ourselves, so we can catch capital i's that should have been lowercase l's. Aesthetics and design don't matter until the text is ready to
