(Some people go to private CDL schools. Costs a couple grand, but you get like two months to do what we just cram…
Adventures in unearned trust in beardy, tattooed white guys: yesterday at the training facility, a motorcycle cop walked up and asked “you all using the pad? Can we set up?”

Day 8 of training. My second day off.
As a treat (and for the first time) I did not go in to the yard to practice my air brake inspection.
Instead, I am at home, making flash cards for my coach interior inspection and the number of ‘looks…
Today is the first day of a new gig. The funniest part is the number of people who are surprised that I don’t already have my CDL, presumably because of my beard + tattoos. 😂
