Finally opened the box that had our rachet set, and started to take the tv mount off the wall in my office. Turns out that LawBro not only bolted the thing into the studs.... he -glued- it to the plaster.
So to get the 3 bedroom ones down, we may end up with damaged plaster. ::argh!::

Annoyed with the check company, since they haven't updated my address, even though the bank did 3 days ago... (and they say I have to ask the bank to change it...) ★ 2 I've been working with a 3 hank batch of yarn from Gusto, and... I'm just not liking it. The colors are wrong for me, and it's not bringing joy, so I think I'm going to give it away. ::sighs:: ★ 4 New drivers license ordered, and voter registration changed. Whew! (Ordered some new address labels as well, and since I was on etsy, got a crochet pattern...) ★ 5 Thanks, readers!!! Of Gentler Dreams has now earned out its publishing costs, and yesterday I made my first 77 cents from about 2 years of struggle-filled writing!!!! (This is how it works for most small authors, I'm afraid.) ★ 3 Dogs are back from daycare. We're trying to get them used to being separated from us (in a dog-related setting) because someday they might need to be boarded overnight. So we're doing 4 hours a week. Tucker's handling it better than Hild… ★ 5 Clarification from yesterday: This house didn't have 5 BigAss TV mounts. It had 6. I forgot the one in the guest room. ★ 1 I guess I'm speaking as a person with one 32" tv, not 5 72" ones. I don't get it, but some other people probably find this an idea setup. ★ 2 The one on the outside mantel was only bolted (on brick) so we're hoping the same will be true of the interior hearth. There are 5 mounts in this house. Who watches TV in every room????? ★ 3
