Okay, a rant. Please tell me if I'm being unreasonable. The attached pic is from an online CBC article talking about how the star T Coronae Borealis is supposed to flare up *real soon now*, an example of a recurrent nova that erupts every 80 years or so. The only mention of magnitude in the story is where they say that the star, currently invisible unless you have a telescope, will brighten to mag
