Sheets in iOS 26 and iOS 27 have a strong green tint by default, which is odd. When you use background() that tint is present while the sheet animates in, then abruptly changes to the correct color when the animation ends. If you use .background(Color(UIColor.systemBackground)) then you get the correct color throughout. This issue has gone unresolved for over a year.

Here's the sample code to reproduce this, and my bug report (FB23949835). I want to emphasize that Apple engineers were aware of this bug during the iOS 26 beta lifecycle. Their response was (paraphrased) “we are aware of this problem, let us know if you figure out how to fix it.” I always appreciate the individuals at Apple doing what they can to help, but I find this response inadequate.
