It reproduces reliably. Every time I want to back up the btrfs file system from the internal SSD to an external SSD connected directly over USB3 — no hubs in between — this happens.
I really don’t know if it’s a software or hardware proble…

Since I ran that, the `receive` process is now crawling along, receiving at about 80 KiB/s. At my previous post, dmesg was still clean, but now it’s full of this stuff. I swear, I’m not even trying to break it on purpose!
