After that I just had to figure out that image I was trying to flash was build with a wrong bootloader offset and thus didn’t boot. Which I first thought was due to me messing up the encryption reset. A bit of debugging the build scripts e… … but while they enabled flash encryption to prevent exactly what I‘m trying to do, they only enabled it in development mode and forgot to lock down the system afterwards.
