I generally find it difficult to work only with values because Hilal’s skin naturally has a different value than Solveig’s, so it makes it look like the focus should be on either of them. 🥲

I tried two more ways of coloring my comic. Generally I added details (hatching) to the lineart, and put only some very simple shades.
I first thought to make it all pink, but then thought that it’s more interesting to have different colors for Sol and Hilal, and to use blue for shadows. I still made that into an all-pink version but it feels too plain.
This is probably still not a final version
