Authentic Audacity

Episode 1Following curiosity and interests by myself and with others on brain stimulating topics. Almost everything is complex and fascinating if you pause and ask questions. I think people are craving more from their conversations, and vocabulary. Some time ago I began the practice of only asking how someone is doing if I care to hear the answer, and if someone asks me, I respond genuinely, and accurately. It really catches people off guard, in a most delightful way. I'm going to do what I can to provide a little spark of inspiration to jumpstart your conversations, whether it's solo or with a guest.I have a love affair with words which has led me to begin a blog that similarly meanders about following what interests me. I don't have a particular topic, and I have no idea what category to put it into, I just write. It's been a handful of difficult years, and it was in my brokenness that I began to have an intentional relationship with God. I used to think people made up a human construct they called 'God', as a crutch when life was unbearable. Now I think it's more like we are just too self-absorbed and cocky to listen to him when things go our way. It's in shattered lives and broken selves that we are willing to accept he's all we've got, and all that matters. So if you are feeling wrecked, if you are stuck in that transition of having outgrown your previous life, but have not yet built the foundation of your future, I can relate. I hope this helps.
