Welcome to Coffee with Cappie, where our slogan is:"Shootin straight from the hip."It is my intent to provide a comfortable space for police officers from Patrol through Command, both active and retired, to talk open and freely about what's on their mind. I ask that we all respect the fact that our audience will include family members of officers that may be the subject of discussion by some guests. Vulgarity and profane language are highly discouraged.Our police podcast will include LE officers and individuals associated with police agencies from across the USA and Canada. Format will include LE guest interviews, Host story-telling about real cases and assignments, as well as commentaries on hot-button issues in LE.I am a retired New York State Police Captain who, after an exciting 32 year career I retired in 2013. I continued to work both domestically and overseas as an independent police contractor in 12 African countries, Haiti, the Middle East, and the Philippines. My SP career included 13 years assigned to the Mobile Response Team (MRT) Tactical Unit as an member and also Commander. I also served as a road Trooper, Sergeant, BCI Lieutenant and Captain - Zone Commander.
