DJ Buhle

DJ Buhle started playing with the BFR Crew in 2004, from there she has never looked back as her musical journey, style and interpretation continues to make revellers take to the dance floor in numbers. She is versatile and can curate sets that comprise of deep house, broken beats, soul and house. Her skills and music selection tell a story which takes people on a musical journey which has seen her play across the country alongside some of the industry’s heavyweights. DJ Buhle’s style of play has seen her mixes feature on influential podcasts, TV shows and some of the biggest radio stations in South Africa. DJ Buhle has played an instrumental role in the growth of deep house in Soweto, all this is credited to her involvement in various movements and events. DJ Buhle has played at events and festivals such as The Low Down, Deep Town Jozi, Slushy Fest, Oppikoppi, Truth, False Start, The Warehouse sessions. Plus, in 2018 she was a nominee in the ‘Best Deep House Female DJ’ category for DMASA and she was also feature in Pulse Magazine’s top 20 females who are making waves.
