Bereng 'Bee Deejay' Phokeng is a multi-award winning Cape Town based DJ/Music Producer/Entrepreneur & Entertainment Mogul. He is the founder of Generation Nxt Entertainment & BeeWear Urban Clothing. He is also the former head of A&R at Shaya Records as well being a resident dj on Metro FM for a more than 4 years - South Africa's biggest commercial radio station. Bee started deejaying in 2006 and fast forward a number of years and multiple events hosted later, In February 2014 he was identified as one of a select few of artists in Cape Town to participate in the CTEMF (Cape Town Electronic Music Festival) Connect. A mentorship programme spearheaded by Red Bull & Made Agency that went on to see these artists being a part of the actual festival as well. Bee has mentored a number artists some of which have gone onto to get award nominations and wins. A couple more even went onto to collaborate with big names such as DJ Maphorisa, Busiswa, DJ Tira and Dr Malinga to name a few. Major events and festivals involved in include Veuve Clicquot Masters Polo, Cintron Pink Polo, iPotsoyi Festival South Africa, CTEMF (Cape Town Electronic Music Festival) and Rocking The Daisies to name a few.
