I'm D, your Integrative Health Specialist and Functional Nutritionist. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis when I was 19 years old.  I was in constant pain, and I felt alone. My physicians told me I would be wheelchair-bound by the time I turned 30. Instead - I ran a 5K.  Living with chronic illnesses directly led me to pursue my graduate studies in Integrative Medicine. I learned concrete evidence-based skills, the ability to analyze scientific literature, and the capacity to create person-centered care plans through metabolism, supplements, nutrition, and mind-body medicine.  Where people are the center of care and individualized approaches and modalities are used. My clients have thrived and learned ways to confidently care for themselves despite having an illness. This is how ESSENTIAL WELLNESS was created.
