Influenced by Peter Gabriel, Dave Matthews Band and Pink Floyd, Vide Geiger takes the listener on a journey that’s both unique and inspiring. Vide has played festivals in both Canada and Sweden, recorded the EP Full Steam Ahead. Vide’s incredible guitar playing shines through the face of uplifting lyrics, leaving the audience captivated in this playful energy. The journey started in New Hampshire when Vide’s dad gave him his first guitar at the age of 14. He joined his first band, Wunja, at age 16, in the Intentional Community of Skogsnäs in the middle of northern Sweden. He quickly brought his own sound to the band and started composing Swedish folk melodies with underlying styles of rock, blues, funk, jazz etc. Three years of music collage, mastering in electric and classical guitar gave him a foundation of musical understanding. The mix of technique, community background and a love for deep love for authentic music, has resulted in his unique sound.
