Holotropic Journeys is a podcast dedicated to exploring the work of Stanislav Grof, MD, PhD. Each non-ordinary conversation features in-depth dialogue with experts, researchers, facilitators, astrologers, artists, and thought-leaders whose lives and work have been shaped by holotropic states of consciousness. We explore Grof’s groundbreaking contributions to psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, his extended cartography of the psyche, and his development of holotropic breathwork with Christina Grof. Conversations also center around his pioneering role in jointly founding transpersonal psychology, his collaboration with Richard Tarnas on archetypal astrology, and his integration of consciousness studies with the emerging “new paradigm” sciences of Bohm, Sheldrake, Pribram, Laszlo, and others.
