The InnerTuning© podcast features teachings from Sri Shyamji Bhatnagar about Microchakra™ psychology and InnerTuning© practices, a methodical system for sustainable psychospiritual growth. Sri Shyamji is the founder of the Chakra Institute, headquartered in the United States. He met his spiritual teacher at the age of twelve in the Himalayas. His Guru initiated him into a rare oral tradition of sacred sounds (Naada yoga) and breath (Svar yoga).In 1967, Sri Shyamji had an insight, in which he discovered the microchakras. According to him they are the pathways through which the light of the chakras reaches our nervous system. Five hours of automatic writing produced a treatise which described 147 stages of human awareness, starting with complete ignorance and ending with enlightenment. The discovery profoundly enriches the classical understanding of the chakras.In addition, he has a unique ability to sense along the spine the openings and blockages. This creates an extraordinarily useful opportunity for people who wish to understand precisely where they are at the present time on the path to enlightenment. As a master of Naada yoga, Sri Shyamji is able to create precise sounds which release blockages within the microchakras. Based upon his assessment of a person’s pattern of openings and blockages, he provides them with mantras and InnerTuning© practices to help them progress on their path.
