Mindfully Her is a safe place for your journey no matter what that journey may look like.It is a space where women are heard, seen, and reminded that they don’t have to navigate life alone. While women are my primary audience, I recognize that mental health, healing, relationships, family, identity, and life’s struggles affect people of every gender and age. So while I intentionally center women, I make space for everyone. I don’t shy away from pain, struggle, uncomfortable conversations, or the complexities of life. But at the heart of Mindfully Her is hope, growth, healing, and understanding. This podcast is also a reflection of my own journey. I’m taking the time to share the people, experiences, lessons, and things that have helped me along the way. Through poetry, history, love, family, recipes, art, storytelling, laughter, and so much more, we explore the many pieces of life that can help us grow, heal, and better understand ourselves and one another. And I’m doing it all while parenting, working, loving, learning, and simply trying to live life. I come to this space with peace in mind, but I am not perfect and I don't pretend to be.Some episodes, you’ll get Keshenae: reflective, vulnerable, thoughtful, and intentional. Other episodes, your host may be Nae-Nae the alter ego who brings a different energy, perspective, and maybe a little more unfiltered honesty. And that’s the beauty of Mindfully Her. It’s real. It’s unscripted. It’s straightforward. It’s human.
