Narratives Uncensored is a podcast hosted by Vijay Shankar Balakrishnan, Founder, CEO, & Chief Storyteller of NarraTricks. NarraTricks is a storytelling agency for diverse founders and leaders in science-driven startups, focusing on early-stage companies—pre-seed to Series C. Diverse founders are traditionally from underrepresented backgrounds, including people of colour, queer individuals, neurodivergent individuals, and those with disabilities. They're invisible primarily to investors and media—statistics back this statement. When visible and represented, their stories are often told from the beholders' perspectives, not the protagonists'. At NarraTricks, I provide strategic content services for owned, social, and earned media channels, helping diverse founders identify and amplify their voices and narratives to engineer authentic and organic visibility and credibility through storytelling. With the podcast Narratives Uncensored, I strive to provide a platform for diverse founders and their allies to voice their vision, mission, and stories in the way they want to be known and remembered.
