About

Hosted by Jean-Michel Marcoux, “Practicing Reform” is a five-episode bilingual podcast on the role of arbitrators in addressing investor misconduct and reforming international investment law. Resulting from a broader research project, each episode showcases the scholarship of an academic who has worked on the reform of international investment law or specific doctrines used by tribunals to address investor misconduct. Excerpts from semi-structured interviews with arbitrators are also included to assess how their perspective either support or conflict with academic research. This podcast benefitted from the financial support of an Insight Development Grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
