Through his “selection” we comprehend a kind of “zen”, to which we aspire, coming to the dance floor or listening to a mix from the global network. Dmytro Slobodnyuk, better known as Spieler, has been such a “guide” for many Kyiv partygoers for many years. Omitting unnecessary epithets that describe his technical skills for more than 20 years of his career, we should focus on more valuable for Dmitry component of his DJ history - music. Being a resident of the top commercial Kyiv clubs, Dmytro never neglected his main, in his opinion, purpose - to educate the listener's musical taste by familiarizing the latter with the right musical stiff, on the selection of which Spieler, as a good DJ should, spends all his free time without a trace. As if UK two-step, tech-house of the early noughties or classic deep house, Dmitry, bypassing the obvious industrialization of the underground, continues to fill his bag with originally interesting music, presenting it in the most unexpected light, diluting template linups with template “beatport top chart DJs” with his vision of musical culture, which he continues to carry on, no matter what. The next stage of his career, very soon, will be the presentation of author's music, which should be a logical continuation of the first one.
