Soothkeep

My birth name is Lee William Brainard. I am a Bible teacher and an author. The Bible is — by far — my favorite book. I read it in the original languages (Greek and Hebrew), several literal English translations, the German (usually the Elberfelder), and the Greek OT (the Septuagint). My areas of study include the biblical languages, eschatology (prophecy), apologetics, the major theological controversies, ancient history (with particular interest in ancient catastrophism), and electric universe cosmology. The mission of Soothkeep is the pursuit of truth in doctrine, discernment, and devotion. We want to see the church, or significant portions at any rate, on higher ground when the last trumpet sounds. The method of this pursuit of truth is a rigorous application of the historical-grammatical hermeneutic (literal interpretation). The matter of this pursuit of truth covers the full spectrum of the battle for the mind and heart of the believer.
