Alright everyone. I've been giving this mixing lark a go since 1996. Got into the music listening to the sadly missed legend Stu Allan on Key 103 in Manchester as a kid, as well as the numerous pirate radio stations around the area and buying tape packs from Spin Inn and Eastern Bloc. I got my first set of decks in 1996 when I was 16 and just gave it a go. After loads of clangers thinking I was better than I was, and trying to copy mixes I heard from the likes of Stu Allan, Slipmatt, Sasha, Grooverider, Hype etc , I found my own style and somehow ended up getting bookings at nights and co-promoting nights. All these years later and now as a semi-retired DJ, I'll still knock out the odd mix here and there now and then if people still want them. I've been lucky enough to play at various old skool and dnb nights from 1998 until to now. Erm...that's about it really. Nice one, Stee
