The Gateway Tapes

The "Gateway Tapes" (officially known as The Gateway Experience) are a series of audio exercises developed by the Monroe Institute in the 1970s. They were designed to guide listeners into expanded states of consciousness through a proprietary sound technology.While they have existed for decades, they gained viral fame recently due to the declassification of a 1983 CIA report that analysed the "Gateway Process" as a potential tool for intelligence gathering.How They Work: Hemi-Sync The core of the tapes is a technology called Hemi-Sync (Hemispheric Synchronisation).
