The Steady Operator

I have spent more than two decades working in operations and finance, mostly as a COO. I started this podcast for one simple reason. Operations is often misunderstood. People usually notice operations only when something goes wrong. A delay. A miss. A problem. What they do not see is the quiet work that keeps a business running every day. Good operations is not loud. It is steady. Over the years, I learned that the best operators focus on balance. Balance between finance and people, speed and control, growth and stability. When that balance is right, teams perform better and leaders make clear
