This Election

This podcast series offers a new way of looking at politics, one that focuses on how we engage with others rather than on our partisan identities or policy preferences. It explores why politics is so triggering and offers spiritual practices that heal past wounds, ground us in our bodies, and connect us to that which transcends our differences. The guests on this series are women and men whose wisdom I discovered, and relied on, while running a homeless shelter during the pandemic. Their offerings invited me into practices that enabled me to work with hope in very dark times. I believe their wisdom also offers a way forward to those of us who yearn for a different type of politics.
