Two Short Catechisms

First published in 1645, these Catechisms were crafted by Dr. Owen while he served the parish of Fordham in Essex, dedicating himself to the spiritual growth of his community through diligent house-to-house catechizing. Designed to enhance his teaching efforts, “The Lesser Catechism” targets children, while “The Greater” is aimed at those more advanced in their faith.
