Vic Light is a Trance and Progressive DJ with more than 25 years of experience behind the decks. A longstanding presence on the UK underground scene, Vic has held residencies for Slinky and Remedy and performed for many of the country’s most respected club nights, including Godskitchen, Passion, Goodgreef, Trance Sanctuary, Trancecoda, Xstatic and The Gallery. His career has also included several residencies in Ibiza and the privilege of opening the main room at Cream Ibiza’s closing party at Amnesia. Over the years, Vic has played directly before or after artists including Paul van Dyk, John O’Callaghan, Simon Patterson, Bryan Kearney, John Askew, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Sean Tyas, Genix, Mat Zo, Judge Jules and many more. He has also supported the likes of Armin van Buuren, Aly & Fila, Ferry Corsten, Eddie Halliwell and Sander van Doorn. Known for his versatility and carefully constructed musical journeys, Vic moves effortlessly from deep, melodic and progressive sounds through to driving, uplifting 140 BPM trance. Rather than treating a set as simply a collection of tracks, he builds it with purpose, creating a natural progression suited to the time, setting and dance floor. Whether playing an intimate club, a daytime progressive set or a full-scale outdoor festival, the same passion and attention to musical storytelling runs through everything he does.
