Welcome to the podcast where you will laugh, relate, question everything… or just sit there thinking wait…what just happened?We’re a mother and daughter duo—Kathie and Rayna—showing up exactly as we are: unfiltered, a little chaotic, deeply real, and in our words a lot.Rayna is a mother, wife, Educational Assistant, student, thrift queen, stylist in her own right, gym rat and an advocate for chronic pain suffers and Autism. She is someone who will dig to find the answers and challenge those in power. She is someone you want in your corner. Her fashion is eclectic, expressive, and never boring—very much a reflection of how her mind works. She’s smart, driven, supportive, quick, witty, and one of the funniest people you’ll ever come across and also one of the most loving and kind humans.Kathie is a mother, grandmother (a role she was born for) a widow, an entrepreneur, author, end-of-life doula, speaker, grief coach and an advocate for being your unfiltered self. She is starting a community to expand the platform for women to let go of who they “should be” into being “who they are” She is funny, kind, empathetic, a good listener and for years has been sitting with people in some of life’s hardest moments, helping them find language for what feels impossible to explain. She also has a love for fashion that includes a slightly ridiculous (but fully justified) collection of glasses and shoes… and yes, Rayna is not far behind.Together, we are similar in some ways and completely different in others. Rayna is probably the most like her mom, which makes for some very real, very honest, and sometimes very unexpected conversations.This podcast doesn’t follow a script, but we do have a plan, but no rigid format. No perfectly curated agenda. They always have a topic and do research as needed but there is no script and that’s what makes it work.
