Saturday was a fucking long day. An 8 mile cycle, followed by over 15 miles of walking and running. The North Cotswold hunted multiple foxes around the banks above laverton, Stanton and Stanway. Despite only 2 of us being out we were able to keep track of them and get damning footage of them encouraging the hounds on foxes. I keep dreaming I head a fox into the jaws of the hounds. The North Cotswold Hunt ran riot in the hills around the Springhill estate on Saturday 11th Jan. Multiple foxes fleeing, hounds speaking most of the day and looking absolutely knackered at the end. Hunt staff from Croome and Ledbury hunts also present.

Sabbed the Ledbury near Red Marley today. The hounds just wanted to do their own thing, splitting off whenever they wanted, speaking, then quiet. I watched them start speaking on a load of muntjac tracks at one point, before the whipper-in brought them back to where they were supposed to go. North Cotswold & Croome & West Warwickshire joint meet 10th December 2024 Still quite windy, I joined the crew after I'd finished working for the day and spent a lot of my time in the company of the hunt. A fox ran out of Rushbrook Woods after the hounds were put in there, though the hounds didn't pick up immediately on the scent, and can be seen running over the path the fox took. Saturday 9th November - North Cotswold Hunt - Bourton Far Hill Farm The North Cotswold spent all day running from us. Didn't see much as the distance they covered at speed was considerable. We found them picking up occasionally, at one point the hounds were checking (they do this when they've lost scent and have to look/check for it) in jockey stables, the huntsman saw us filming and did an about turn. Effective sabbing by just being present. They may have killed but we'll never know. #huntsabs
