I don't think I'll ever get tired of playing Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell. I pretty much always mix into Ain't No Mountain High Enough after Stand By Me, but this was the first time I'd ever gone into Beggin' afterwards. Do you think it works? The Madcon version is ridiculously hard to find on vinyl too. I'm 90% sure whoever pressed the copy I bought just ripped the audio straight from YouTube. 😂

It’s pretty exciting when a meme gives an old track new life. The only downside is that people often only know a small part of the song, not the whole thing. Still, it’s great when songs that previously didn’t work that well suddenly start getting crowd reactions. This used to happen a lot when a TV show or movie famously used a song. MJs Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough has such a nice outro for letting a set breathe an and bringing the energy down a little before building it back up. I’ve always wanted to try the Ballin’ Jack sample into “Bust a Move” mix on vinyl. I’d only ever done it in Serato, and not having a loop effect to lean on makes it a bit trickier, but I think this still worked. How do you rate this mix?
