On Thursday June 18th @robbholland3 had one of the worst crashes I've seen at @pikespeakhillclimb. He hit the largest bump on the course and it immediately sent him into the side of the mountain at over 100mph. The car flipped at least three times. The roll cage was untouched and Robb walked away completely unscathed. Although he's a bit sore. @endofstay_automotivestudio started building these half scale cars as a way for Chinese car enthusiasts to enjoy the Porsche 964. On paper only ten were sold in China when they were new cars. While these cars are cool to look at the performance is what stands out for me. The fact that you can drift on real rubber tires on a normal road surface is too cool. @komu5656 showed me how to change a tire at the track by hand. He's part of the @ketsuketsudohmei drift team. In order to be a member, you have to be able to change your own tire without the help of a machine. In his lifetime his guess is that he's changed 1500 tires this way. This is without a doubt THE most fun EV vehicle I have ever driven. @discoverlexus put quite a bit of effort into doing a complete engine swap. They replaced the 1.6 liter 4AG with the Toyota Tundra Hybrid assist motor, which looks like a bell housing (it's at the end of the video). @chrisforsberg64's 1990 Nissan Patrol with a TB48 engine from the Y61 Patrol. This thing is nuts! I'm surprised more people don't import this engine. It's a massive 4.8 liter inline six gas engine, that's already mated to a five speed manual transmission.
