Our birthday feasting hits the road to Portland to visit Gregory Gourdet at Kann@. We were dying to try the place we had only heard him describe in his pitch on Top Chef all stars. What a joy it is to see someone you love flourish and realize their dreams. Bravo Gregory, and thank you to the whole crew at Kann for making us feel so welcome and loved. We were stuffed to the gills! And in fact had to get a room because we were too full to drive back to Seattle after — even though we ate at 5pm!!!
