Opened in August 1863, @NYRA Saratoga is the place to be in the summertime! This is in my Top 3 favorite racetracks. I love the nostalgic atmosphere where you can fit right in wearing #vintagefashion from any era, especially the 1920's-1940's. You can BYOB in the picnic areas (and bring your own spread!) or buy reserved seats in the grandstands or dining areas. I

Some people may not know people can enter contests for #handicapping (betting) horse races. There's #poker games and all kinds of gambling contests. Horse racing is no different. There are free contests to $10k+ entry contests. Today I was invited to be the Guest Handicapper at Turf Paradise. For those who don't know, @turfparadise is in Phoenix, AZ. This was my second time guest handicapping there. I don't normally play Turf Paradise so it adds a bit of challenge for me. Handicapping is the art and strategy of analyzing racehorses' past performances in order to make your "best guess" of who will win 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Every handicapper or horseplayer has their own strategy. I have angles or patterns I look for.
