Haitian families deserve certainty, not fear. While the Supreme Court allowed the Trump Administration to move forward with ending TPS, Congress can still act. The House passed a bipartisan TPS extension for Haiti. Now, the Senate needs to finish the job.

The State Department says Haiti is so dangerous that Americans should leave DNA samples before traveling there. Yet at the same time, the Trump Administration is trying to force 350,000 Haitian TPS holders to return. The hypocrisy is staggering. We passed a bill to extend Haiti TPS in the House. Now it's time for the Senate to do the same.

After three people died in encounters involving ICE this month, the FBI is now being told to stop investigating confrontations involving ICE. We need more accountability and transparency for ICE, and instead the Trump Admin is pushing for the opposite. That's why I'm fighting for the Right to Record Act to hold ICE accountable.
