Hello friends, my name is Rivka and I am an avid gardener, to say the least. Join me in my garden in Southwestern Oregon's interior valley, Zone 8b, as we learn together and deal with heat, drought, water shortages and climate change, all while having fun and developing that green thumb. As a former market gardener with over 25 years under my belt, I take my experience as a commercial grower and apply it to my 1/8 acre personal garden where I grow most of my family's fresh food. We preserve and can much of it. Like anything having to do with nature, one can never know it all so we are always learning. Join me on the journey!
