I’ve spent decades collecting books for their illustrations, surprising humor, tenderness, and the way they stay long after the last page. Some are nostalgic classics I loved as a child. Others are modern stories that feel instantly timeless. What they share is strong visual storytelling — art worth looking at closely.
As a longtime art teacher and Montessori educator, I use storybooks as a springboard for drawing — helping children build creative confidence, support early literacy, and experience art time as calm, playful, and genuinely joyful.
