Hello, I am David Smith. I’m a 3rd generation cattle farmer in the Derbyshire Dales.
I have been farming since I was a young child. My grandad bought our farm in the 1950s. My dad raised me on this farm and I am raising my children here with my wife.
We are a small livestock farm and have a campsite in as well that my father set up in the 1980s to ensure he had enough money to support his family. Our campsite is called Birchwood Farm Caravan Park and is location on our farm near Matlock in Derbyshire

I made this channel to share videos of us farming and working on the campsite maintenance. A lot of our machinery is very old and I often don’t see a lot of it in the UK anymore so I wanted to show people what machinery we use everyday.
