Just finished spending 3 days on and off tracking down two sources of instability and now the #MiniDragon reliably runs programs all the time! Not just when the clock speed is set lower. Not just when single stepping. Not just sometimes when you roll the dice. All the time!
It turns out that there was enough propagation delay in the instruction decoder circuit that previous instruction microcodes
