Been messing around with curved shapes in p5.js using the bezierVertex() function. I made myself a little exploration tool so I could drag the control points around and see how the curve edges behave.
The orientation feels kinda off to me, though. In this example, the red dots represent the shape's vertices/anchor nodes (with a north, south east, west orientation). The green dots are the Bezier co

Here's an example that illustrates why i think about the Bezier control points as connected by anchor rather than by edge. if i connect via anchor i can do things like keep a stable 180° angle between two control points. when one is dragged the other rotates around the anchor as its (personal?) origin.
