Exposing False Prophets

Becoming Fruit Inspectors******************************When Jesus said, "You will know them by their fruit," he meant that you can identify a person's true character and intentions by observing their actions and the outcomes of their life. Essentially, this means judging them based on the visible results of their beliefs and choices, much like a tree is recognized by the fruit it produces. Good people naturally produce good deeds, while those with bad intentions exhibit negative behaviors. This scripture is found in Matthew 7:16, where Jesus warns against false prophets and emphasizes that their true nature will be revealed through their actions and teachings, focusing on material wealth and aggressively doing anything to obtain it. "Fruit" as a metaphor: The "fruit" represents the outward manifestation of a person's inner character, lifestyle, and impact on others. Of course, this is the area in which Jesus expects us to observe when assessing them and not being misled by their pretentious behavior.
