Lots of #studiomonitor stands for sale online, but when you’re making a custom studio desk for your Sprinter van build and want them at the correct height and distance from your ears (for optimal monitoring), you have to make them yourself. I’ve never had much of a problem keeping my phone charged in the van, but I wanted to start designating different areas to accommodate fast charging of USB-C and #USB devices. This way, I can enjoy the benefits of fast charging without needing a power-hungry and inefficient A/C fast charging adapter (although they are so nice to use). As much as I love using lacquer spray cans from the local hardware store, after my 7th can at $10+ each, I decided it was time to learn how to use a paint sprayer. Most importantly, I needed to know how to mix the lacquer for a sprayer so it doesn’t clog the nozzle (lacquer out of the can is too thick to spray).
